Students and academics from third countries are not permitted to pursue self–employment – even part–time – alongside their studies, doctorate or employment on the basis of their residence title. What most of you do not know: with the application for an additional residence title, self–employment is still possible, but some requirements have to be taken into account. The situation is similar after you have finished your studies, doctorate or employment. There are several ways to realise your idea.
