Design Thinking Workshop for students, researchers and entrepreneurs in context of the trinational KTUR project. The workshop is devided into four two-hour time slots, daily on March 21 to March 24 from 10am-12pm (10-12 Uhr). We will make participants experience the whole needfinding phase of a Desing Thinking process and let them step by step turn their findings into a business idea.

Design thinking is a human centered approach to innovation that puts people’s needs, hopes, and aspirations before any considerations of feasibility or viability of, for example, a business idea or problem solution. Once the basic needs are interpreted, the design thinking team starts finding solutions: developing as many solutions as possible, selecting the best ones and directly starting prototyping these ideas to get customer feedback and refine the (business) idea.

This Workshop will help you to

– gain an overview of the mindset, tools and process of Design Thinking
– experience how to empathize with different stakeholders and their perspective to a topic
– interpret statements and behaviours from observation and turn them into an opportunity area
– apply brainstorming and rapid prototyping to find solutions
– pitch your idea

The workshop is run by Dr. Isabel Creuznacher, she a successful innovation consultant for companies and educational institutions.
